Gone are the days where hiring smart people and offering them pre-programmed learning was a successful formula. Today’s competitive marketplace demands more from its leaders — and, yes, that’s you! What competencies have the most impact on the success of your department? The first step in improvement is identifying the competencies needed, assessing the skills of your team, and identifying the skills gap.
Are your departmental competencies in alignment with the vital competencies for your company’s success? Leadership holds the key to alignment.
How will you strategically close the competency gap? As the economy begins to rebound, now is not the time to cut training resources. Complacency will not gain you competency!
